Pres Gardening

The Other side!

Before “hoovering” …..

Mounds of grass cuttings from the 27th were gradually drying up so on the 28th I got the garden ‘hoover’ onto them, narrowly missing this magnificent critter.

After “hoovering” …..

… and the critter was safe.

There are all sorts of creatures out in the grass, day and night. This hedgehog beautifully cleaned up my spilt yoghourt from the day before’s lunchtime picnic.

I keep my eyes open for these lovely resting butterflies too!!

This attractive arrangement of cutting around the centre bed…..

Has now been cut and ‘hoovered’ more widely…..

….. after much changing of plugs and fidgeting to get all the machines working nicely; aided by some very helpful Teds too, Sue!!

They were rather tired when they had finished and rested in their outdoor room.

They remembered the starlings they had seen flocking over the orchard earlier in the afternoon: it is that time of year…..More tomorrow.
