That Sunny Day …

That Sunny Day

The sun rose with splendour, and I looked at its reflections in the Glassroom as I peered through the bedroom window.

I walked to the Surgery and back and I found myself frequently looking up.

Once I crossed the road to peek through park railings …..

… I stood in the road to catch this weeping willow on a street corner.

Gradually I came down to earth …..

… but it’s great looking up.

The blue skies and sunshine are really cheery Anne and the colour is still glorious. It is all very unseasonal and not helping to kill off the nasties but I’m enjoying these odd sunny days. What a lovely walk it was, hope all is okay. :rose:

My memories of winter sixty years ago are just so different from what you seem to be experiencing now – or does central heating change our perceptions so much? How Trump can refuse to believe in global warming beats me – but I suppose if you worship the pursuit of profit, it helps. We have Storm Barbara blowing in up here anytime now – but I will carry these peaceful pictures in my head, Anne.

  3. Lovely as ever, Anne, especially with a few autumn leaves still around :-)
