A Village Walk on Christmas Morning.

As I sip my Prosecca, ;-) [I had Champagne and orange juice for breakfast !] I recall my two walks around the Village this morning …. This is the first. Just look at this combination of berries and spraying twigs!

I go alone through the Kissing Gate, down the long alley path, through to the church.

Outside is the beautiful long-living Yew Tree ….

Inside, a large, new Christmas tree stands opposite the door with decorations thrown over it .

I dipped into one of the books … and read wise words by that late great lady …..

Admired the woodcarving all over again ….. and the oil painting on the wall …..

…and marvelled at the ‘snow’ [?] outside he village Pub!

After exchanging greetings with passers-by en route, I arrived home … to pretty things.
