COLOUR AND ACTION AT BRADGATE PARK.

We had a lovely walk at Bradgate this morning where red and fallow stags were running about and “bolving”, surrounded by their harems. The leaves and bracken were changing colour too and their were “forests of fungi” in the mulch around the trees.

I wonder what bird this is?

I put this blog on large pictures …….so why did it change back?

Gorgeous photos Cilla, but had to look up “bolving”. Love the fungi forests too. :good:
Think you need to set the size for each photo? I’ll check later. If you set the blog to draft first and then save it you can check it before publishing. :good:

I just used to set the size and all the photos would be large :-( I’m glad you enjoyed it anyway :-)

What a lovely breath of fresh air, Cilla – and I didn’t have to move a muscle. Got a bit noisy in places though, with all that bolving……

Glad you liked it Bean…….I love the eerie sound they make. When I lived in Herefordshire I used to go in to the woods on my own, on a misty afternoon and watch and listen to the stags, wonderful :good:
