What a difference a van makes!

Well, not only do we have the Wiz, we also succumbed and got a van – ex-police Peugeot, originally a people carrier, modified for the police, and now lots of space for us!

But do you see where it now lives? I had lots of different sized raised beds on the concrete, as well as my my herb garden in an old shower tray (I forgot to take a photo of this). So what happened to the beds? It’s taken me about 3 days to get them emptied and put elsewhere. One of them (the largest) has been completely repurposed and is now a storage unit ;-)

There are two smallish raised beds that I can now see from the kitchen window, placed among the flowerbed against the pyromaniac’s fence. I’ll use them for beets or something:

Back to the concrete – I kept the builders’ bags but depending on how much sun they get this year, they may or may not stay:

And finally, from the front of the van you can see the remaining raised beds on the concrete:

I’m tired out now, as you might imagine, and am ready for dinner with the last of the parsnips!

Hope you’ve had a good day and have a good evening – I know I will!!

I love Primrose Peugot Jane, I somehow imagined it was black. You have worked hard and everything looks very neat. Your garden in the distance looks lovely, all those flowers. You can look forward to some trips now :-)

  2. Thanks, Cilla! The whole area needed a good tidy up and looks better really but for how long, I just don’t know

Wow, Jane, you have been busy! I’m very impressed with all your re-organisation, as well as with your new purchase. There’ll be no stopping you now. ;-) :good: I dug up our remaining parsnips yesterday and now have them “clamped” so that I can sort the last of the beds. :good: So, come on, where are you going on your first trip? :-)
