GG in February 2020

GG in February 2020

Beautiful Hellebores speak for themselves and although GG is a mess, soggy and bits-strewn with wind and rain, flowers peep through everywhere quietly seeking attention.

Geraniums are early and very luxurious compared to their usual tiny blooms.

Despite their sickliness last year Camellias are bursting out of their fat buds.

There are Primulas.

The Copper Hazel twigs have fat, fast-developing buds.

Euphorbia [Spurge] is growing luxuriant yellow heads atop blue, leafy stems.

Tiny Daffodils brighten the edge of the path and the Tulip bulbs defy the squirrels and still push through the soggy soil!

You really do have some beautiful hellebores Anne :-) Looking at your delightful plants you would never guess what foul weather we have had, a sight for jaded gardener’s eyes, thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you Cilla. GG is so small, and hemmed in, but I guess you could call it a blessing to be so sheltered :-) :rose:
