GGHJ Has a Little Snow too.
GGHJ Has a Little Snow too.
It comes suddenly, in two consecutive half-hour flurries, then drifts away. Through the window I see birds.
Outside, Hellebores look pretty, sheltering underneath.
Cyclamen snuggle in blankets of fluffy white.
A view from the Inglenook is cosy, and there is a yellow Kerria blossom at the front fence, overlooking the pavement.
Dancing Fuchsias have been hidden.
It is all rather lovely and exciting whilst it lasts.

Anne … 24.02.2021.
Lovely Anne, we had snow it came down really heavy yesterday and a few flurries today, it’s been very cold here, yesterday and today!!!
Thanks Lynn … I really didn’t think we would have snow when I first woke to that rosy Dawn today, then the clouds thickened and looked heavy. Next time I looked up from writing, snow was falling heavily .. but not for long.
Lovely photos Anne, and yes the snow is lovely – for a while.
Thanks Karen
and as I suspected it has nearly all gone now.
GG’s garden loks very pretty in the snow and love those hellebores.
Thanks Cilla
It’s lovely how snow prettifies everything, until it’s used or melts away. I seem to have many more pink Hellebores where I expected white ones, so we shall see, when they flower.
Lovely pics, Anne with the pinks and yellows. Good job you don’t have to go outside though.
Thanks Jane; I like the way snow pics are almost black& white, with just little areas of colour shining through here and there. When I went out to photograph in the garden, there were areas of no snow at all in the Inglenook and the Arbour
thanks for those anne. really good.
Thank you Len … you’re welcome
