Morning clickers :-) work delayed this morning while I cooked peperonata with some peppers I bought yesterday during the cheap electricity :good: Just off out to finish the watering I didn’t get to do last night and yes, pick a couple of courgettes :walt: OH doesn’t know what will hit his plate when he gets back  Hydration, hydration, hydration, everyone – have a fabulous day :notacloudinsight:

    • Morning Jane, the “peperonata” sounds interesting. :good: I’ve just done the greenhouse watering, and will be off to the pool in half an hour or so. Probably the last time I’ll be cool today. ;-) Hope the work goes quickly so that you can enjoy the rest of the day. :good: Have a good one yourself. :-)

      • Morning Karen :-) I think the recipe is in the forum. It’s lovely hot or cold. I make a big lot and freeze some. Just watered and will need to water myself soon  Have a brilliant day!

    • Good morning Jane and Karen – another clear and sunny day here (bet that surprises everyone!) and according to my forecast, it’s likely to be like that for at least a fortnight. Am in terror of a hose-pipe ban and the slavery of carrying buckets to keep everything alive. Also have a couple of courgettes ready to be cut – but feeling much more confident about them since I discovered that they can be “lost” if coarsely grated and added to pasta. That way I can sneak them onto the plates of many who are utterly and absolutely sick of them. But I imagine when OH sees them on his plate, he will know beyond doubt that he is home.

      • Morning Sheila :-) I know my 5 water butts will be empty soon – surely no chance of a ban in Scotland! Hope not, for the sake of your arms. I hear that Shetland has a few clouds – maybe they’ll drift your way.

      • Good morning Jane, Karen and Bean. Your market trip sounds lovely Jane and good to buy some proper fresh stuff. Perhaps OH will decide to stay in Devon with the scrumpy and clotted cream just to avoid the courgettes  I gave my friend my first 4 courgettes but I’m sure some more will have appeared. I hope she’s keeping things alive. Enjoy your day :rose:
