Morning everyone, back to normal at last, will be able to get out on scooter later. Need some compost from the allotment so more onions can be sown
Tonight at church its choose your own carols from our carol sheets, followed by mince pie and coffee or tea

    • Nothing better than a Carol Service Tony – great way to end your day.

    • Morning Tony. It is good to be out and about again. Enjoy your carols tonight. :-)

    • Afters Tony, missed you earlier. Choosing carols will be lovely, a lovely carol service is hard to beat and finishing with the/coffee and mince pies is perfect. Surprised you are not putting in some music requests to Walt for our Festive fun. ;-)

Evening clickers, snows gone :good: , spent a couple of hours in town this morning . So many glum faces, what’s the matter with people? I was just glad to be out side for a time and see different people, even if they are strangers. I love my cat to bits but his communication is rather limited 1 he wants a fuss ,2 he’s hungry and 3 his tray wants…[Read more]

Morning clickers, most of the snow has gone over night :good: . Really looking forward to getting out of the house today, have been indoors since last Friday
Reading Shelias comment on the kitchen reminded me to gather covers and trays in readiness for when the kitchen doubles as a potting shed, not too far away now.

    • Aaaarrggg! Had totally overlooked my habit of using kitchen as a potting shed, and the sheer inability to prevent compost going everywhere and falling on the floor etc. Am resigned to my fate – but it just goes to show how essentially useless it is to be houseproud. HAGD Tony.

    • Yes, Hi Tony :high-five: I understand that stir-crazy feeling  HAGD :good: :rose:

    • Morning Tony :-) I’m sure you’re not inside at this time – HAGD :-)

Morning everyone, sons walk to work yesterday was uneventful, had a taxi home and slipped on his backside as he got out. Nothing hurt only his pride as a couple of neighbours were clearing snow. No idea how he’s travelling today, cars still on the drive and I never heard him go

    • Morning Tony :-) that happens to us all ;-) Hope your snow melts quickly! HAGD

    • Morning Tony…..sod’s law ;-) Rain is forecast tonight here so hope you get it too to melt away the white stuff. Stay safe, we don’t want you slipping anywhere ;-)

    • Morning Tony – I bet that having an audience for his fall, made your son’s pain increase no end – and stopped him lying on the pavement quietly sobbing to himself. Hope you both keep safe and snug today.

My faith in human nature has just been restored, have just received a picture taken out side our local hospital last night. All these 4×4 s had turned out to ferry staff home, the same had happened on the morning to get staff to work. A real Christmas story

Morning everyone, looks like another day indoors, the snow is frozen now and unless it rains it will be a few days before its safe to walk out. Yesterday was only the 2nd time in 50 years our church services were cancelled .

    • Morning Tony, goodness that is quite a record for your church. :good: Our wee road is a solid sheet of ice, so I ain’t going anywhere either. Stay warm. :good:

    • Morning Tony :-) not sure how you’re coping indoors – you’re a very fresh air kind of guy! Hope you can have a good day :-)
