    Hi, I saw this lovely plant growing in someone’s garden and would like help identifying it. If anyone knows I’d be chuffed. Thanks so much :-)

    Definitely looks as though it is growing among tulip foliage which has had the spent flowers snipped off – and the flower stem does not look sturdy enough to be a tulip stem – but I conclude it must be a tulip, variety unknown.

    I am not certain but check Tulip ‘Ballade’.

    yes I agree with WALT its a tulip variety called Tulip ‘Ballade’. if you go on google images you can see for yourself. hope this helps. :good:

    yes, I had some yellow/red ones with beautifully striped leaves one year….squat but very pretty :good:

    Yes, It’s tulip, I have this in my garden since 2013..
