    hello!
Saw this unidentified flower at Wisley, lovely ferny foliage. Can anyone put me out of my misery please?
    Thank you!

Looks rather like a Toadflax Nic, but am no expert. When did you visit Wisley? I love the place :-) :rose:

thanks guys. Gosh, I visited Wisley a couple of years ago now, but I was looking through my photos (fruitlessly trying to put them in some kind of order ha ha) and I was reminded of this lovely flower that I never managed to find the name of…All the flowers around it had little labels but not this one!
Appreciate your help Owdboggy and gertie :good: :cute: :-)

Toadflax is a Linaria purpurea … the ferny leaf description foxed me to begin with :-) :rose:
It’s been a few years since we went…I want to revisit now  :rose:

yes, I think ferny was not accurate, what I should have said was ‘whorled’.. ;-) I think that’s the right expression! But I agree with you Gertie, it’s a Linaria! Thank you!!!!!
