    The head gardener who did a lot of the planning there is now at Sissinghurst. We visited a few years ago when OH’s friend was butler there, but in the summer.

    Those lichens so remind me of Wales Jane … I always remember the woods in Wales where I first came across them and learnt the beauty, not only of the Lichens, but the fact that they signify such a clean and pure air environment. :good: thanks for the article. :rose:

    It was like that on the 25th of last month, Because all the ones growing in the hedgerows up there were in full bloom also.Took loads of photos when we went around there a couple of years back.
