    have a glut of apples can i put them in the compost?

    Hello RT :-) if you can, it’s good to leave some on the ground for the birds to peck at over the winter months – they’ll love you for it.
    I put peelings in the compost but don’t like to put too much in at once because of the acidity that worms tend not to like.
    Can you stew some and freeze? Good for winter brekkie with porridge ;-)

    Thanks, I have been stewing as and when, I thought it would probably be too much for the compost.
