    We have five beautiful photos so far, and the end of January comes in but a week or so.
    Where are those path sweepers, earth excavator/wrigglers, seed sowers and intrepid early buzzers? I spotted an enormous furry bumble bee on the Winter Honeysuckle again yesterday, but it buzzed off before I could get out my camera! So be prepared and please spot and click something else to brighten up this cold, cold month … and good luck :good:

    We have had quality over quantity this month.
    Thank you to all three Gardeners who entered.
    Tubs made a terrific start with her beautiful flowering shrub:
    I love Cilla’s leaves:
    but the ladybirds resting and storing up energy in the shelter of that hard working, and protective wooden hole is the photo to which I am drawn over and over again.
    Thus I declare Jane to be this month’s winner.
    Over to you Jane, for February.

    What a surprise! Thank you, Anne! Glad you liked the ladybirds – hope they actually survive! Thank you to Cilla, Tubs and Al for your lovely comments. Oh dear though – thinking cap on for February… :lol:
