I thought a clicker recommended Kate Ellis but can’t seem to trace the post but anyway, I’ve just finished Seeking the Dead – a murder with a bit of the occult thrown in – very enjoyable. The detective is Joe Plantagenet. Will look out the others.
I read this after finishing my first Merrily Watkins, The Magus of Hay, by Phil Rickman – also very enjoyable. I know Jenn @jenn recommended this series.

It was me Jane. You would like her inspector Wesley Peterson books as they are set in Devon….Bideford or Barnstaple. :good:

Brilliant, Cilla, I’ll have a look at that series. Have you read ‘Seeking the Dead’?
