I’ve booked marked that link now, to be honest I had no idea that potatoes are going out of fashion, but my neighbours who are very much into fitness on talking to the hubby about growing veg in the garden I said about growing spuds in bags, he said they don’t eat potatoes at all, I do know they like juicing as that blooming machine is always…[Read more]

Omg what a dreary wet day it’s been today, rain has finally cleared, anyway did make me stay indoors and I finally got round to sorting out our cupboard under the stairs so after this packed away all the camping gear :good:
It’s a large cupboard and goes quite a way back but I always end up banging my head on the stairs as the light is behind me…[Read more]

    • Hello Karen :-) it brightened up here briefly and we went for a short walk. Glad OH mowed the grass yesterday as it’s sodden now! HAGE

Gooseberry jam, now that sounds good :good: , doesn’t sound a good idea with the way you had hoovered so definitely the wise thing not to do it anymore, and am sure the nurses won’t judge a bit of dust either ;-) :-)

Saw what I thought was a hornet, but turned out to be a hoverfly hornet, googled it as wasn’t sure as it wasn’t aggressive and just seemed happy collecting nectar, amazing little creature to mimic the hornet :-)

Found this very quiet cove called Menabilly, as you can see you park in a farmers field and put money in an honesty box, found this cove as lots of the beaches on the south side of Cornwall have no dogs allowed during the summer season and this one allowed them, so glad as might not have found this perfect location :good:
    Tent to dry out today…

    • What a beautiful spot Karen, love the Cornwall area. :good:

    • My comments are not ‘taking’ on the individual photos Karen, but I so agree with KarenVV … it looks beautiful, and in the other set that you posted recently, Alfie looks so glossy and happy. he’s a beautiful dog  :rose:

    • Reminds me of a Baobab tree … well that worked   :rose:

    • Try again …. ytppee! I was trying to say that i wish that hodpital carparks would introduce parking fees of this nature karen, then we could afford to us them. I do understand the reasons for not oinfg so and it’s a pity. :rose:

Morning all, very busy since coming back from Cornwall, gradually drying out the camping gear and packing away, yes we went 9 weeks in the south without rain and the week we decide to go camping we had that rain, but we did have a lot of sunshine too but as most of our camping trips you can guarantee rain on the day of leaving
    Anyway…

    • It looks absolutely brilliant, Karen – and I can see Alfie enjoyed himself too. Was speaking to another friend yesterday who went camping on Camber Sands, and they had to spend one of their days tent – sitting, because nearby tents were getting blown down and away…..

    • Gorgeous photos, Karen and glad you had some sunshine in Cornwall. Alfie obviously enjoyed himself too by the look of him ;-) Have a good day :-)

    • Fabulous Karen.

    • What a lovely spot Karen, stunning views, which part was it? And, yes, Alfie looks happy as Larry :-)

    • Am really sad that I may have lost all my stories and pictures of growing grandchildren down the years Karen…I am lucky to have this little lap top though it’s very slow and awkward to use in comparison … we shall see. Going to have another look at your holiday snaps now … they look fabulous. :rose:

Morning all, going to be a scorcher today :notacloudinsight:
Off camping in Cornwall Monday and really looking forward to it, we bought a new tent in the sales last September so even if it does rain we want get damp as we did last year
Anyway I’ll post some pictures where we are as we’re staying on an organic working farm near st…[Read more]

    • Morning Karen. Cornwall sounds lovely and your camp site so I will look forward to seeing the photos. Does Alfie go too?

      • Morning Karen, we go to Whitby this pm for a few days, couldn’t get on our regular site but this one has sea views and no club either which is fine. :good:

    • It sounds absolutely perfick, Karen – a lovely break. I used to camp out all summer with my Alsatian dog when I was young – and only went home to replenish grub. My parents didn’t worry because the dog wouldn’t let anyone approach – even an aunt who tried to come up and say goodbye as she was leaving. Site sounds good – will look forward to the photos.

    • That sounds brilliant Karen – Cornwall is so beautiful and in this weather…perfection. Have a great time :good:
