vacant possession

i was speaking to my friend on the Parish Council who oversees the allotments  he told me we had three vacant plots on the allotment to let

it looks as though last year’s weather has broken some of the allotment holders spirits and they have decided to give up i was somewhat surprised as we usually have a waiting list for people wanting allotments

perhaps when spring rears its sunny head those three allotments will be taken
